Environmental Policy
In addition to our legal and moral responsibilities with respect to the environment, we take specific measures to ensure that our air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance, design and installation activities have the minimum environmental impact. We do this by:
- designing systems using equipment with high efficiencies, as opposed to offering solutions that may have lowest initial capital cost
- looking at alternative solutions to the normal refrigeration based cooling
- providing ongoing advice to maintenance clients regarding equipment efficiency
- monitoring HVAC efficiency during routine HVAC maintenance checks using an energy analysing tool
- ensuring clients are compliant with CRC regulations
- taking steps to minimise refrigerant leaks (which is now a legal requirement).
