This client is one of the largest retailers of organic food in the UK, and was keen to seek a refrigeration company that could react to its ever expanding requirements.
This first project was for its “Goods-In” store, which had to be maintained at a constant –2ºC.
The refrigeration plant had to cater for expansion in product volume, and with sufficient redundant capacity to prevent downtime in the event of plant failure.
The resultant plant load was beyond the normal operating limit of standard equipment. Therefore, a bespoke system was designed comprising 2 No. compressor/receiver sets coupled to 1 No. dual circuit condenser – all mounted on a purpose-built steel frame.
The project was designed, installed and tested in 6 weeks.
