Tracey Christie recently completed her AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians), which was a 3 year course. It consisted of skill tests and an exam in year 1, a portfolio and exams in year 2 and in year 3 Tracey had to complete a project and take further exams. Now that Tracey has completed and passed this course she has applied to become a full AAT member, which involves submitting her qualification and sourcing a chartered accountant and EMS to give her a reference, once this is achieved she will attend a graduation ceremony. So congratulations to Tracey for this achievement. Tracey has been with EMS for four years and is our Accounts Manager who works very hard at ensuring EMS are meeting their financial targets.
Melanie Morgan has passed her AAT Level 2. Melanie has been studying this for a year now and attends college on a day release each week. It involved Melanie creating a portfolio of evidence to prove that she understood the work. She had to complete 7 simulations throughout the year and had to ensure that she passed each one as they count towards her qualification. At the end of the module, Melanie had to endure a four hour long exam in June and she passed this with flying colours so well done Mel. Mel is now moving on to work towards her AAT level 3 so we wish her luck with this.
