Close Control Air Conditioning
Providing precise control of temperature, relative humidity and filtration for equipment rooms – such as data centres, server rooms, laboratories etc – requires a different approach to that used for comfort cooling applications.
Closer control of temperature is achieved by having higher air change rates within the room, which means using equipment of higher capacity than typical comfort cooling systems.
Such equipment is commonly referred to as “close control” which is designed to incorporate humidifiers, electric (or LPHW) heating and G4 (or better) filtration standard – all features that are not possible with unitary comfort cooling systems.
